On June 6, 2024, the China-Pakistan Friendship and Business Reception was held in Beijing by the Pakistani Embassy in China, China International Cultural Communication Center, and the China-Pakistan Friendship Association. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who was visiting China, attended the reception and delivered a speech. Former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Sha Zukang, Vice President of the China People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Li XiKui, Executive Chairman of China International Cultural Communication Center Long Yuxiang, Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar and Pakistani Ambassador to China Kariyar Hashmi attended the event. Secretary of Party Committee of Anda Group, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the China Charity Work Committee and member of the China-Pakistan Association Cui Hongjin, General Manager Cui Wenlian were invited to attend.
